Shea Butter has an amazing list of benefits, but not all Shea Butter products are equal. First, we use only premium shea butter in TruShea. Second, to capitalize on this amazing product, many manufacturers are putting Shea Butter on the label but including small amounts in their formulations. TruShea is approximately 90% pure Shea Butter. It contains some Jojoba oil, also a fantastic product for your skin, and very small amounts of other all natural ingredients (Vitamin E, Borage Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Rosehips Oil, and essential aromatherapy oils.
If you plan to use TruShea on your face or for the treatment of skin irritations such as burns, cuts, bites, sunburns, eczema, or just for anti-aging and skin renewal purposes, we recommend the Unscented version. Even though the essential oils are of the highest quality and are a tiny percentage of the TruShea mix, some essential oils by their nature can be irritating to the skin.
